Terms of sale

1. Scope

These terms apply to every service sold by RAUVAL SARL ("Rauval"): websites, web and mobile apps, custom software, UI/UX and graphic design, hosting and cybersecurity work. By accepting a quote, the client accepts these terms. Any change must be agreed in writing (email or WhatsApp counts as writing).

2. Quotes and orders

  • Prices on rauval.com/pricing are starting prices. Every project gets a written quote listing the work, the price, the timeline and the payment schedule.
  • A quote is valid for 30 days. The order is confirmed when the client accepts the quote and pays the deposit.
  • Work not listed in the quote (new pages, new features, extra revision rounds) is quoted separately before it starts.

3. Prices and payment

  • Prices are in FCFA (XAF). US dollar amounts on the site are indicative.
  • Unless the quote says otherwise: 50% deposit when the order is confirmed, 50% balance before the site or app goes live or the final files are delivered.
  • Accepted payment methods: Mobile Money (MTN MoMo, Orange Money), bank transfer, or cash at our office against a receipt. Clients abroad can pay by international transfer. Payment details are sent with the invoice; Rauval never asks for card details by WhatsApp or email.
  • Every payment gets an invoice or receipt from RAUVAL SARL.
  • Hosting is paid yearly, in advance. If a renewal is not paid within 15 days of its due date, the service may be suspended after notice.

4. Delivery and acceptance

  • The timeline in the quote starts once the deposit and the content needed from the client (texts, logos, photos, access) are received. Delays in providing them move the timeline.
  • The client can follow and review the work before go-live. The quote includes two rounds of revisions unless it says otherwise.
  • The work is accepted when the client approves it in writing, or 10 days after delivery without a documented problem.
  • Bugs found within 30 days of go-live that come from our work are fixed at no cost.

5. Intellectual property

Once the full price is paid, the client owns the final design, content and source code made for them, except third-party components (open-source libraries, fonts, stock images, plugins) which stay under their own licences. Rauval may show the finished work in its portfolio unless the client asks otherwise in writing.

6. Client responsibilities

The client guarantees they hold the rights to the content they provide and that their site or app is used lawfully. Rauval may refuse or stop work for illegal, fraudulent or misleading content.

7. Hosting

Hosting plans include a subdomain of rauval.com or the client's own domain, as listed on the pricing page. Rauval takes reasonable care to keep hosted products online and backed up but does not guarantee uninterrupted service, since it relies on third-party providers.

8. Cancellation and refunds

Cancellations and refunds follow our refund policy.

9. Liability

Rauval's total liability for a project is limited to the amount paid by the client for that project. Rauval is not liable for indirect losses (lost revenue, lost data caused by the client, third-party outages).

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Cameroon and the OHADA Uniform Acts. The parties will first try to settle any dispute amicably; failing that, the courts of Yaoundé have jurisdiction.
